Fall 2023 News
On Friday September 15th the hounds had a promising A-Side and B-Side scrimmage against Towson University's A's and B's. The A-Side played the game largely in Towson's half although gave up a few scoring opportunities due to small mistakes. The A-Side ended up taking the win while the B-Side game was cut short due too injury. Overall solid match with room for improvement as the season goes on.
Unfortunately our previous week's matchup against GW was cancelled due to weather so this past week was our first in conference game against American University. The match was long and neck and neck for the majority of the 80 minutes. There was on and off rain throughout the match and was largely a running game as the ball did not get through the hands very much. Our boys hit hard and made our tackles, despite this our hands did not do us well. There were many dropped balls and knock-ons throughout the match. We were playing down until about the 70 minute mark when we pulled away with a 3 point free kick and a try at the end.
